Actress Diti dies

Popular actress Parvin Sultana Diti was died at the United Hospital in Dhaka around 4:10pm on Sunday.

Shagufa Anwar, chief of communication of the hospital, confirmed the death to Jagonews24.com.

Diti was suffering from cancer for a long.

Hearing the news, President of Bangladesh Journalist Association Abdur Rahman, General Secretary of Bangladesh Cinema Artist Association Amit Hasan, Eliad Kanchon, Riaz, Ferdous, Mousumi, Omor Sauny and Shabnur expressed their sympathy. 

Earlier on January 10, the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had donated Tk One million for the treatment of film actress Parveen Sultana Diti.

Diti was working in two serials - Life in a Metro and Meghe Dhaka Shohor - and the film Raja Babu directed by Bodiul Alam Khokon before falling sick.
