Tahsan- Mithila getting divorced

At last the rumors came to true that Tahsan Khan and Rafiath Rashid Mithila are getting divorced as Tahsan confirmed the news through a facebook post on his verified page on Thursday.

Tahsan wrote on his page, “It is with heavy hearts that we would like to jointly announce that we are getting divorced.”

The actor and musician also wrote, “After several months of trying to reconcile our differences, we have decided that we would rather go separate ways than be in a relationship out of social pressure.”

He apologized to his fans for the matter, “We realize that this probably comes as a shock to a lot of you and we wholeheartedly apologize about that.”

Tahsan and Mithila have a daughter, Ira Tahrim Khan, who is staying with her mother. However, they want to continue their co-parenthood.

“We have always conducted our relationship with dignity and grace, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner,” Tahsan said.

“We hope you will all treat us both with kindness during this difficult phase of our lives,” he added in the post.

Tahsan and Mithila tied the knot on August 3, 2006.
