Cannes best dressed Aishwariya

Although Sonam Kapoor has developed a reputation for the new fashionista in Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan caught the eyes at Cannes this year most. As per the festival’s poll she is the winner when it comes to best-dressed Indian beauties at the 68th Cannes Film Festival, reports The Indian Express.

After the last years post maternity over-weight presence, Aishwariya this year no doubt deserves every bit of the praise that is being showered on her for her impressive appearances on the red carpet as well as off it at the French Riveria.

Out of the actress’ appearances at Cannes, her emerald Elie Saab gown received the most votes (50.53%), making it the best look this year. Her floral Sabyasachi jumpsuit was the second best with 16.82% votes.

Coming in a close second was Katrina Kaif, who made her debut at Cannes this year. Her first choice, a fresh and experimental monochrome look – cropped top and layered white skirt by Milly was voted as the actress’ best look with 38.96% votes.

Meanwhile, fashionista Sonam Kapoor was voted third best dressed this year. It was her blue Ralph & Russo gown that stood out, receiving 51.55 votes.
