Film Artistes’ Association elections in pictures

The Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association polls for 2017-18 term is undergoing at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC).

The polls started on Friday around 9am amid heavy security and will continue till 5pm. Some 624 voter are expected to cast their vote in this election.

A total of 57 artistes are contesting for 21 posts in three panels -Misha Sawdagar - Zayed Khan panel, Omar Sunny - Amit Hasan panel and Dany Sidak - Ilias Kobra panel.

Faruk, Shakib Khan, Sohel Khan, Shakil Khan, Amin Khan, Anjona, Ilias Kanchan, Dipjo, Meem, Nasrin, Nuton, Apu Biswas, Bubli, Bobi, Anata Jalil, Borsha has already casted their vote.

Mantazur Rahman Akbar is conducting the polls as the chief election commissioner while Nazmul Huda Mintu and Pirjada Shahiful Harun have been appointed as assistant election commissioner.
