Shakib Khan cancels press conference

Dhallywood actor Shakib Khan canceled his press conference which was scheduled to be held to address the questions regarding the relationship between actress Apu Bishwas and him at 12pm at The Westin Dhaka on Tuesday.

On Monday, Apu claimed to be lawfully wedded to her co-actor of many years Shakib Khan for over nine years. She revealed the couple also has a child together.

Shakib said he will only take responsibility of their son, Abraham Khan Joy, but will not recognize actress Apu Biswas.

Alleging that Apu Biswas is trying to destroy his career, Shakib said “I will accept my son, not Apu,”.

The actor’s comment came minutes after Apu’s revealed their marriage during a live interview at a private television channel on Monday afternoon.

Apu said, “I got married to Shakib on 18th April 2008 and I was named as Apu Islam Khan. During the marriage ceremony Shakib’s brother and a producer were present.”
