‘Romeo and Juliet’ to get a war film makeover

Entertainment Company Lions gate is developing a war film version of Shakespeare’s classic ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

The studio behind ‘The Hunger Games’ will work on an adaptation of the graphic novel ‘Romeo and Juliet: The War’, from Marvel legend Stan Lee’s POW!

‘What a treat it is to finally announce our partnership with Lions gate on a project. The story of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ is one of my absolute favorites, and I can’t wait to bring our rendition of this classic to life,’ Lee said.

No release date has yet been set for ‘Romeo and Juliet: The War’.
