Amitabh shoots with Maharashtra CM’s wife
Amitabh Bachchan might have shaken a leg with numerous female leads throughout his acting career. But the latest music video which he shot was special. It marks the onscreen debut of Amruta Fadnavis, who is the wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Amruta is not new to the showbiz.
A seasoned singer, she has already lent her voice to songs in Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal and Kunal Kohli’s Phir Se. Mrs. Fadnavis has now decided to step in front of the camera. And giving her company is Big B himself.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the music video was shot on Tuesday at South Mumbai’s Opera House. Choreographer Ahmed Khan has got Bachchan and Amruta shake a leg in the song, which has been produced by Bhushan Kumar. Dressed in red, Amruta looked glamorous.
‘It’s a beautiful song, titled ‘Phir Se’, which will see Amrutaji seeking admission to a performing arts institute which is headed by Amitji. There is a conversational scene between the two,’ Ahmed Khan was quoted as saying.
Amitabh Bachchan took to twitter to share some pictures from the shoot location. Big B’s fan clubs have also shared some images. Check them out.
Amruta has also sung the particular song. According to Ahmed Khan, they had to be cautious during the shooting as the Opera House is known to have expensive antiques. Known for its beautiful architecture, the Royal Opera House was renovated and recently reopened for the public.
