My character in Rangoon is very well-dressed: Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan was easily the most effortlessly good looking man at the 8th edition of GQ Men of the Year awards on Tuesday evening.

Wearing a classic formal suit and sporting a two-day stubble and neatly combed hair, Saif looked every bit the royal gentleman that he is.

Unlike other celebs, the man didn’t shy away from answering our question on the brouhaha surrounding Pakistani artists in India, reports Indian Express.

Talking about his upcoming film Rangoon, which is a period drama, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Saif told us, ‘The experience of working in Rangoon has been really very nice. I got a chance to dress up. It’s a period film set in the 1940s and my character is very well dressed so that was good fun.’

Rangoon is set in the backdrop of World War II and will see Saif essay the role of a filmmaker. The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor who plays a soldier and Kangana Ranaut who plays an actress.

Talking about his own sense of style, Saif said, ‘I like all kinds of clothes. I like Indian clothes, formal, casual. I buy most of the things I like and leave them in my cupboard and just wear whatever I feel. I don’t actually shop that much.’

When asked who he took inspiration from in matters of style, Saif said, ‘When it comes to style, I take inspiration all the way from Rudolph Valentino to Jackie Shroff.’

The actor also said that if given a chance to be a man that he admires the most, he would chose to be in the shoes of Alain Delon, the popular French-Swiss actor-businessman.
