43rd BCS: Deselected candidates gather at Secretariat

The candidates who were excluded from freshly published gazette of the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service, BCS, gathered in front of the Bangladesh Secretariat on Wednesday, January 1, protesting against the move.
They gathered in front of the 2 no. gate this morning, and around 2:30pm, four of them submitted an application to the office of Public Administration secretary to include them in the new gazette.
Around 4:00pm, more than 50 candidates were seen there and they also formed a human programme in front of the Secretariat.
Earlier on Monday, December 30, the Ministry of Public Administration cancelled the gazette of the 42rd BCS published on October 15 and issued a new one, excluding 168 from various cadres.
