Govt waives fees for students injured in mass uprising
The interim government has announced a waiver of tuition and other fees for students injured during the student-people mass uprising in July-August.
The Ministry of Education disclosed this in a notification issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division on Tuesday (October 29).
According to the notification, students from secondary to university levels—including all public and private schools, colleges, madrasas, vocational institutions, and universities—who were injured during the uprising are eligible for this waiver.
Injured students are requested to apply for these benefits through their respective institutions, providing relevant medical documents.
This decision will remain in effect throughout the entire education life of the eligible students.
