BCS exam attempts limited to three
The government has decided to limit the number of attempts for the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations to a maximum of three per candidate.
This decision was made in line with the interim government's announcement to raise the upper age limit for government job applicants to 32 years.
The decision was taken during a regular meeting of the advisory council, chaired by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, at the Chief Adviser’s office in Tejgaon, Dhaka, on Thursday.
The Ministry of Public Administration announced that it will amend the Bangladesh Civil Service Recruitment Rules 2014 to formalize the change, ensuring candidates can participate in the BCS exams no more than three times.
