2,064 appointed from 43rd BCS

The government has appointed 2,064 candidates from the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service, BCS, examination to various cadres. 

Of them, 293 were appointed to the administration cadre, 96 to the police cadre, 25 to the foreign service cadre, 32 to the audit and accounts cadre, and 22 to the information cadre.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued an order on Tuesday (October 15), appointing them.

This appointment comes around 10 months after the recommendation by the Public Service Commission, PSC.

The entire recruitment process for the BCS took about four years to complete.
