Remaining HSC exams cut in half, new schedule delayed
The remaining Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations will be shortened, with students answering only half the number of questions per subject.
The number of questions will be reduced from eight to four.
The new exam schedule will be released after a two-week or longer postponement.
This decision was made at an emergency meeting chaired by Education Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud on Tuesday.
Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, head of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the news to Jago News.
