Postponed HSC exams to resume on Sept 11

The postponed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will resume on September 11, according to the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee. 

The Dhaka Education Board released the revised exam schedule on its website on Thursday, August 15.

The government had initially postponed the HSC and equivalent exams scheduled for July 18 due to the violence surrounding the quota reform protests. Subsequently, the exams scheduled for July 21, 23, and 25 were also suspended as the situation deteriorated.

Earlier, the government ordered the closure of all schools, colleges, madrasas, and polytechnic institutes under the Education Ministry, citing student safety concerns amid the ongoing unrest.
