KUET VC, pro VC resign

Khulna University of Engineering and Technology vice-chancellor professor Dr Mihir Ranjan Halder and pro vice chancellor prof Dr Sobhan Mia resigned.

They submitted their resignation letters to Chancellor of the university President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Monday in the face of students’ demand.

Dr Mihir mentioned personal affairs while Dr Sobhan stated physical sickness and personal causes as grounds to leave from their respective positions. 

Following the resignation of Dr Mihir, prof Dr Muhammad Masud of the Department of Mechanical Engineering will take over his duties.
