JU VC Nurul Alam resigns

Jahangirnagar University’s vice-chancellor, professor Dr Md Nurul Alam, has stepped down, citing personal and family reasons.
He submitted his resignation letter to the university Chancellor President Mohammed Shahabuddin through a mail on Wednesday.
In the resignation letter, he said, “I tried my level best to perform my duties and now I stepped down from the post of vice chancellor for personal and family reasons.”
Prof Nurul Alam was appointed as the vice chancellor of JU on September 13, 2022.
He had served as the pro-VC (Education) of the university since August 14, 2016.
