Thursday's HSC, equivalent exams postponed

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled for Thursday (July 18) have been postponed.

Professor Tapan Kumar Sarker, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, told Jago News on Tuesday night.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee also issued a notice in this regard tonight.

The notice said the exams of all education boards scheduled to take place on Thursday (July 18) have been postponed for unavoidable reasons, and the changed date of the tests will be notified letter. 

Earlier, the government announced the closure of all schools, colleges, madrasas, and polytechnic institutes under the Education Ministry, citing student security concerns amidst ongoing protests for quota reforms.
