Govt announces closure of schools, colleges

The government has announced the closure of all schools, colleges, madrasas, and polytechnic institutes in the country, citing student security concerns amidst ongoing protests for quota reforms.

The Education Ministry issued a notice in this regard on Tuesday night, said the ministry's public relations officer MA Khair.

The notice said considering security concerns of the students, all schools, colleges, madrasas, and polytechnic institutes under the Education Ministry will remain shut until further instructions.
