Viqarunnisa teacher suspended for illegally admitting students

Md Shah Alam Khan, a teacher of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, has been suspended for his involvement in illegally admitting students to the institution.

He, the head of the day shift (Bangla version) of VNSC, has also been asked to explain why he should not be expelled permanently.

A letter signed by the institution's Principal (Acting) Keka Roy Chowdhury said this on Thursday.

The letter sent to him read, "There are allegations that some students have been finalized for admission in Class I of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College for the 2024 academic year without following the instructions of the Directorate Of Secondary & Higher Education."

"Primarily the allegations were found true and it appears that you (Shah Alam Khan have been involved in the acts."
