MBBS admission test on February 9, BDS on March 8

The admission test for MBBS course in country's government and private medical colleges for the academic year 2023-24 will be held on 9 February, while the entry test for BDS course in public and private dental colleges will be held on 8 March.

The date of the admission test was finalized at a meeting in the health ministry on Sunday. Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque presided over the meeting.

The Health Minister said the minimum pass mark is 49. Applications for foreign nationals will be accepted from January 4. Local students can start applying from January 11. The online application fee is Tk 1,000. 

He also said the last date for online applications is January 23. The deadline for submitting fees is January 24. The candidates will be assigned roll numbers and seats by January 26.
