NCTB files case over propaganda on curriculum, textbook

The National Curriculum and Textbook Board has filed a case over the 'propaganda' on the new curriculum and two textbooks for the education year 2024.

The case was lodged with Motijheel Police Station, Dhaka on October 23, NCTB secretary Mst Nazma Akhter told Jago News.

"We have filed a case to take legal action against those who are spreading propaganda. We did not mention the name of anyone and the law enforcers will find them," she said.

Asked Motijheel Police Station officer in-charge Abul Kalam Azad, he said they (NCTB officials) made a complaint mentioning that rumors and propaganda are being spread on the new curriculum and two textbooks on social media and police are looking into the matter.
