182 KU students selected for NST fellowship

A total of 182 students of Khulna University (KU) have been selected for the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship for the academic session 2023-24.

The fellowship is being given by the Ministry of Science and Technology for research.

The fellowship is in three categories which was recently published on the website of the Ministry of Science and Technology in a circular, a press release said on Saturday.

The three categories are Physical Science, Food and Agriculture Science and Biological and Medical Sciences.

Of the selected students, 88 are in the Physical Science category, 69 in the Food and Agriculture Science category and 36 students are in Biological and Medical Sciences category.

In addition, one person has been nominated for fellowship from Fisheries and Marine Resource Technology discipline as a PhD student, the press release also said.
