SSC results: Barishal board sees highest pass rate

Barishal Education Board has witnessed the highest pass rate among nine general boards in this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations.

According to the results published on Friday, Barishal had a pass rate of 90.18 percent while Sylhet saw the lowest success rate of 76.06 percent.

Among other boards, the pass rate of Dhaka board is 77.55 percent, Rajshahi 87.89 percent, Jashore 86.17 percent, Chattogram 78.29, and Mymensingh 85.49 percent.

This year around 80.39 percent of students passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations.

As many as 1,83,508 examinees obtained GPA-5 and of them, 84,964 are male and 98,614 female students.
