34 teachers served show-cause notice for absence in institutions

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has served show-cause notice to 34 teachers for being absent without leave in the country's different educational institutions.
The notices were sent to the respective institutions on Thursday but a press release in this regard was published on DSHE website on Sunday.
DSHE assistant director (secondary-2) SM Ziaul Haque Henri said most of them who were served show-cause notice do not come to school for two or more days.
It is a warning notice for them and punitive action will be taken if they do so in the future, he added.
