SSC results may be published in last week of July
The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations may be published in the last week of July.
Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar, president of inter-education board coordination sub-committee and Dhaka education board chairman, said this on Thursday.
He said they will send a proposal to the Prime Minister through Education Ministry to publish results on July 28, 29, 30 and the results will be published on the day she gives her consent.
This year, the SSC and its equivalent examinations began across the country on April 30 and ended on May 28.
A total of 20,72,163 students under 11 education boards sat for the exams.
Earlier, the SSC and the equivalent examinations took place in February while the Higher Secondary Certificate and the equivalent examinations were held in April which schedules changed since 2020 following outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
