Ministry directive ignored in making new books: Dipu Moni
Education Minister Dipu Moni has said the ministry's directive to omit some photos and lessons in making books for the new curriculum has been ignored.
"It has been directed to omit some photos and lessons in making books for the new curriculum but the new curriculum formulation committee disregarded the ministry's this decision," she said.
However, an investigation committee will be formed to look into whether the mistakes in the new books were added intentionally or mistakenly, she added.
The education minister said this at a press conference on the errors correction in the textbooks under the new curriculum arranged at International Mother Language Institute in capital Dhaka on Tuesday.
