New curriculum for primary to higher secondary from next year: Dipu Moni
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said on Tuesday preparation has been completed to introduce new curriculum for primary, secondary and higher secondary level students from next year.
"New curriculum has been prepared for introduction at primary, secondary and higher secondary level students from next year . . . there will be a major transformation in education," she said while speaking at a discussion and cultural programme on the occasion of Victory Day at Anima Chowdhury Auditorium in Natore district town.
The new curriculum has been prepared keeping in mind the labour market at home and abroad, he said, adding that education from primary to higher secondary level will see a major transformation.
About the distribution of new books, she said students will get textbooks in the new year defying all obstacles.
He said anti-liberation forces will have to be resisted at any cost because these evil forces are conspiring to hinder country's development and progress by grabbing power.
National University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mashiur Rahman presided over the meeting that was addressed, among others, by district Awami League president Abdul Kuddus, MP, Shafiqul Islam ,MP, Zilla Parishad chairman Sajedur Rahman Khan and heroic freedom fighter Shirin Akhter.
