Primary school teacher recruitment test results on Dec 14

Results of the recruitment tests for appointment of assistant teachers at government primary schools will be published on December 14. 

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education confirmed the information in a press release on Monday. 

Though the written and verbal tests for the recruitment were held in three phases, the final results will be published at once. 

The ministry in October 2020 published an advertisement for appointing 32,577 assistant teachers.

A total of 13,09,461 candidates applied for the positions. Of them, 151,825 passed the written exams and took the viva voce.

Currently, there are 359,095 teachers at 65,620 government primary schools.
