Dinajpur Board announces new schedule for postponed SSC exams

The Dinajpur Education Board on Thursday published a new schedule for the four postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations. 

Professor Md Kamrul Islam, Chairman of the education board, confirmed the matter to Jago News. 

The examinations that were postponed are mathematics, agriculture science, physics and chemistry. 

The exam of mathematics subject will be held on October 10 while agriculture science on October 11, physics on October 12 and chemistry on October 13. 

On Wednesday, the Dinajpur Education Board postponed the examinations of the four subjects over the question leak incident at Bhurungamari in Kurigram. 

Police arrested three more people over the incident. 

They are Hamidul Islam, teacher of agriculture science of Bhurungamari Nehal Uddin High School, Sohel Chowdhury, teacher of Bengali and Sujan Miah, peon. 

With this, police arrested six people in connection with the question leak incident so far.

Earlier, the head master of the school Lutfor Rahman, English teacher Aminur Rahman Rasel and Islam Studies teacher Jobayer Islam were arrested and sent to the jail over the incident.

In this connection, Al Asad Md Mahfujul Islam, Kurigram Police Superintendent, said if necessary, they will be taken on remand and interrogated. Anyone involved in the incident will not be spared.
