Uniform policy for management of NU-affiliated colleges

A uniform policy has been made for the management of the colleges affiliated with the National University (NU) to improve the education quality in the institutions.

Electing educationists for the president post of the governing body, reducing dependency on coaching, arranging education loans for the students, and ICT, science, and technology education has been emphasized in the policy.

A draft of this policy has been made through six background study findings by the college education development project under the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Education Ministry.

The college education development project's program officer Dr AKM Khalilur Rahman told Jago News that a uniform policy has been formulated in view of the research by eminent persons to increase the education quality in the NU-affiliated colleges. 

Now, its draft has been created where it has been said to bring huge changes in college management, he said, adding that the policy will soon be sent to Education Ministry and the ministry will finalize it taking opinion from the experts.
