Padma Bridge opening: June 25 SSC exams to be held on June 24

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations of June 25 will be held on June 24 due to the inauguration of the much-awaited Padma Multipurpose Bridge.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni disclosed this at a meeting of the National Monitoring and Law-Order Affairs Committee at the Education Ministry on Sunday. 

She said the date of one examination has been changed and the other exams will be held as per the scheduled routine.

The minister said all examinees must enter their respective examination centres 30 minutes before the exam begins.

She also said all coaching centres will remain closed for three weeks from June 15 during the SSC examinations.

The SSC and its equivalent examinations for this year will begin on June 19 and will continue until July 6.
