SSC exams in Nov, HSC in Dec if Covid situation improves
SSC and equivalent exams will be held in the second week of November, while HSC and equivalent exams in the first week of December, if Coronavirus situation improves in the country.
Education Minister Dipu Moni said this at a virtual press briefing at 11am on Thursday.
If the Covid-19 situation is not under control within this time, results of SSC, HSC will be prepared based on previous academic results of the students, the minister said.
The minister also said that 24 assignments will be given to SSC candidates in 12 weeks from this month and 30 assignments will be given for HSC candidates. SSC and HSC examinations will be taken after covering the short syllabus.
Earlier on 29 June, the government extended the closure of all educational institutions to 30 July to stop current spread of Coronavirus.
