Dr Md Hasibur Rashid, the treasurer of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur has been appointed as its new Vice Chancellor.
The Ministry of Education issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.
He replaces incumbent VC Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah who faced allegations of irregularities and corruption over recruitments.
