SSC form fill up begins on April 1

Form fill up of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations of 2021 will begin from April 1.

April 8 is the last date to submit the form, and the examinees can submit the same with late fee from 10 to 15 April.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka said this in a press release on Sunday. 

The press note also said no test (determining eligibility of the students for the public exams) will not be held this year.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, however, on December 29 last year said that the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations 2021 will be held in June and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent exams in July-August.

Considering the overall situation of the coronavirus pandemic, the government has decided to open the educational institutions from March 30.

The government had ordered all educational institutions to close on March 17 last year following an outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country.

Since then, the shutdown has been extended on several occasions, and most recently it has been extened until February 28.
