67 DU students face expulsion for life

Dhaka University (DU) authorities permanently have expelled its 67 students after their involvement with admission test question paper leak and forgery, as well as links with arms and drugs were found true.

Among them, 63 were expelled for question paper leak and admission forgery, and four for being involved with arms and drugs.

The decision was taken at a syndicate meeting on Tuesday with DU Vice Chancellor professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman in the chair.

In the meeting, nine more students were temporarily expelled on charge of getting admitted at DU through digital fraud and illegal means, and 14 ones for snatching.

Decision has also been taken to serve showcase notice why they should not be expelled for life.
