Admission fraud: 69 students suspended from DU
There were sixty nine students of Dhaka University (DU) have been suspended over allegedly going through an illegal way to admit into honors first year on Tuesday.
The decision to suspend the suspected students was taken by a disciplinary council of the university from a meeting heading by Vice-chancellor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman earlier in the day.
According to the initiatives taken by the council, a notice for their clarification of the allegation will be served seeking explanation within 7 days as a primary step.
The suspected students were admitted to the university during 2012-2013 and 2017-2018 academic session said a press release served from the authority.
