40th BCS preliminary test: 20,277 cleared

The results of the 40th BCS preliminary examination were published on Thursday clearing 20,277 applicants. 

Confirming to Jago News, Mohammad Sadik, Chairman of BPAC said, total 20 thousands and 277 applicants were cleared to take part in the written exam.

According to the BPSC, the work of publishing results had been completed. A meeting was held in this regard before publishing the results. 

The preliminary tests of the 40th BCS examination were held on 3 May.

A total of 412,532 candidates registered to sit for the 40th BCS exam while some 327,525 candidates attended, according to BPSC.

The BPSC published the 40th BCS circular seeking applications for 1,903 vacant posts on 11 September, 2018.
