HSC exams rescheduled

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations for 13 subjects under the eight general education boards have been rescheduled due to Shab-e-Barat.

The government brought the changes in the exam timetable as the Shab-e Barat falls on the night of April 21, reports BSS.

According to the new schedule signed by Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Ziaul Haque, the first paper of three subjects including Arabic, Sanskrit and Pali will now be held on May 9 at 2pm instead of April 17.

The second paper exams of Arabic, Sanskrit and Pali will be held on May 11 from 2pm to 5pm instead of April 18.

The second paper exams of Physics (theoretical), Accounting, Logic, and Business Organisation and Management (compulsory) will be held on May 12 from 10 am to 1 pm instead of April 22.

Besides, home science first and second paper exams will be held on May 4 from 10am to 1 pm and on May 6 from 2pm to 5pm.
