3-day workshop on ‘Library Automation’ begins at IU
A three-day long training workshop titled “Library Digitalization and Automation” began at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia toady with a view to digitalizing the university’s central library.
The library digitalization and automation committee of the university organized it at the central library on the campus, reports BSS.
Convener of the IU’s Library automation committee Professor Dr M Mahbubar Rahman inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest while Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) librarian M Akkas Ali Pathan was present as the trainer.
Among others, IU students’ advisor Professor Dr Paresh Chandra Barman, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering department Dr Ahsanul Ambia, and acting librarian M Ataur Rahman addressed the here as the special guests.
The training will end on Monday.
