86pc fail in DU C unit admission test

Around 86 per cent students failed to secure the pass mark as the results of admission tests under ‘B’ unit of Dhaka University were published on Tuesday.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman formally announced the result at the central admission office at the administrative building.

The results showed that only 4,747 students obtained the pass marks while 33,897 candidates applied for 2,378 seats this year.

The results can be collected from DU website http://admission.eis.du.ac.bd/ or via text messages from any mobile networks.

To get results through SMS, candidates should type in ‘DU’ ‘B’ ‘Roll Number’ and send it to 16321.

The successful candidates in the admission tests have been asked to fill in ‘choice form’ on online and submit the documents from September 16 to October 10.

The admission test for First Year Honours courses under ‘B’ unit for the session 2018-2019 was held on September 21.
