PSC for recruiting 985 BCS candidates in 2nd class non-cadre posts

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) today recommended recruiting 985 candidates of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination with the status of second class non-cadre officers.

The recommendation has been made as per the amended Non-cadre Posts Recruitment Rules 2014 and Non-cadre Posts Recruitment Rules 2010, said a PSC press release.

The registration numbers of the selected candidates for the posts are available on the PSC website www.bpsc.gov.bd, the release added.

Of them, 74 have been selected as government secondary school teachers for English, 85 for physical science and 96 for business education while 44 were recommended as jailers and 23 as female deputy jailers at Department of Prisons of the Ministry of Home Affairs, 120 as food inspectors at Directorate General of Food and 46 as tax inspectors at National Board of Revenue (NBR).

Earlier, on March 15, the PSC recommended for recruiting 284 candidates of the 36th BCS examination with the status of first class non-cadre officials.

According to the release, a total 2,560 among 3,308 candidates who passed the 36th BCS examination applied for the non-cadre posts.
