IU launches Bangabandhu corner

The authority of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia today launched 'Bangabandhu Corner' at the central library on the campus marking the 99th birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
IU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated it as the chief guest while Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif were present as special guests, reports BSS.
Acting Librarian of Badshah Fahad Bin Abdul Aziz central library of the university M Ataur Rahman presided over the event.
More than 300 books written on Bangabandhu to be kept at the corner.
The IU VC donated 100 books for the corner.
