Tajuddin medical college closed for sine die

The authorities on Tuesday closed Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College in Gazipur for an indefinite period following a clash between the students and outsourcing employees.

The students were asked to vacate their dormitories by 6pm today, said principal of the college doctor Md. Asad Hossain.

According to the source, a student locked into brawl with an employee when he along with his mother went to X-ray room. Hearing the matter, a group of agitated students vandalized the X-room and locked into clash with the employees. At that time, seven people were injured.

Later police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control.
