DU 'Ga-unit' admission test result published

The result of 'Ga-unit' admission test under Business Studies Faculty of Dhaka University (DU) for 2017-2018 academic session was published today as 14.75 percent candidates passed in the test.

DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at central admission office in the university's administrative building around 7pm.

He said some 4,168 admission seekers among 28,248 secured the pass marks vying in the test against 1,250 seats.

The highest score was 187.04 out of 200, he added.

The results can be viewed from the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or sending SMS over mobile by using any operator. To get result through SMS, one will have to type "DU GA roll number" and send it to 16321.

Students, who have secured position in first 1250 are asked to fill in subject selection forms between September 25 and October 8, the vice-chancellor added.

Meanwhile, the written test (general Knowledge) of 'Cha' unit under Fine Arts Faculty of DU for 2017-2018 session has been also published.

A total of 11,074 candidates took part in the test vying for 135 seats. Of them, only1552 students secured the pass mark.

Those who passed the written test have been asked to attend the drawing test on September 23.
