GUB VC presents key note at the 7th World Edu Summit

Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir presented key note at the 7th World Education Summit held in Bengalore, India on September 9, 2017.

More than 150 participants, scholars from all over India as well as Bangladesh, USA, and UAE, attended the summit with the theme ‘Sustainable Development Goal: Education’, according to a press release issued by GUB.

Dr. Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, leading economist of Bangladesh, was present as the chief guest.

Professor Dr. Golam Samdani Fakir was speaking on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with special focus on SDG 4, which touches on education. His presentation was highly appreciated by the audience and the organizers of the summit.

There were three interactive sessions: Sustainable Development Goal- Education, Inclusive Quality Education and Life Long Learning and Education in Poverty Alleviation and Global Peace.

There were designated speakers, questions and answers in each session. The participants raised many important issues on challenges in higher education.
