Post budget discussion at Green University

Green Business School (GBS) of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) has organized a seminar on “Post Budget Reflection on National Budget 2017-18” on Wednesday at its campus.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir presided over the program while CPD fellow Professor Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor of GUB Dr. Mohammad Fayyz Khan, Professor M M Khan and registrar Lieutenant General (Retd) Md Mainul Islam, among others, spoke at the programme.

The guests discussed various aspects of the National Budget 2017-18, especially allocation for rising education sector, poverty alleviation, growth rate, inflation, implementation of the development programmes etc.

The seminar also observed that the allocation in the education sector is declining whereas the sector has witnessed a rapid growth with the increase of students, teachers and institutions.
