UODA appoints Mahbub as Media Studies Dept chief

The University of Development Alternative (UODA) appointed new head for its Communication and Media Studies department on Sunday.

UODA’s Assistant Professor M Mahbub Alam will act as the head of the department and the appointment will be effective from the date of issuance of the notification, says a press release of the university.

M Mahbub Alam completed his graduation from Dhaka University on Mass Communication and Journalism in 1998. He also completed post graduation from same university in 1999.

Mahbub Alam has also been working as Assistant News Editor of newsbangladesh.com since 2015. Earlier, he served as Output Editor of banglanews24.com for five years.
