Prof Abdus Sobhan appointed RU VC again
Prof Abdus Sobhan of Department of Applied Physics and Electronics of Rajshahi University (RU) has again been appointed its Vice-chancellor for next four years, RU sources said.
RU Registrar Office here this afternoon received a circular saying Chancellor of the University and President Abdul Hamid appointed him as VC for second time.
Earlier, Prof Abdus Sobhan was VC of RU for a four-year term from 2009 to 2013.
The VC’s post falls vacant upon completion of a four-year term of Prof Md Mijanuddin as RU VC on March 19 last.
