12 textbooks of secondary level to be changed: Nahid

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said that the government has decided to modify the textbooks of secondary level students for easier to learn.

He made the remark while addressing a press conference at his ministry on Thursday noon.

He said that the modifier books would be handed over to the students by 2018.

“Government has taken the decisions that suggested by the prominent educationists of the country for developing the quality of education,” he said.

The minister, however, said that from now on, the answer sheet will be assessed by the model answer script.

“The results of Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) will be assessed with the same process,” he added.
