GUB celebrates historic Mujibnagar Day

In the observance of the historic `Mujibnagar Day’ a discussion and Cultural function was held at Green University of Bangladesh on Thursday.

Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor of GUB was the chief guest while presided over Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fayyaz Khan. Registrar Lt. Gen. Mainul Islam (Retd.) and Prof. K. M Wazed Kabir spoke as guest of honor.

Mujibnagar Day is observed marking the formation of Bangladesh’s first government at Mujibnagar under Meherpur district on April 17, 1971 that led the country’s War of Liberation.
